Force Coefficient LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates D100 Tracker (the "App"), a mobile application designed as a digital companion for tracking tabletop game play. This Privacy Policy explains how D100 Tracker handles your information.
In short: The App stores your game data and settings locally on your device. Production versions use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to measure limited app usage and diagnose crashes. Those services may receive pseudonymous app or installation identifiers, app and device information, usage events, and crash diagnostics as described below. The App has no user accounts, advertising, multiplayer, or cloud synchronization of your game data.
The App lets you enter and maintain game information, which may include:
This information is used on your device to provide the App's features and preserve your saved games. We do not intentionally include it in Firebase Analytics events or Crashlytics custom fields, and the App does not use Firebase to upload saved game files or synchronize game state. Crash reports can contain the error message and relevant application state generated by the App or operating system; if a software error includes user-entered text, that text could appear in a crash report. The App does not require you to enter real-world personal information, and you should not enter sensitive personal information into free-text fields.
Production mobile builds enable Firebase Analytics by default. Non-production builds are generally configured with collection disabled. Firebase Analytics may automatically collect basic app-use, app, device, and installation information, such as session activity, first open, engagement, app version, device model, operating-system name and version, language or region, and a pseudonymous app-instance identifier. The exact information collected can vary by platform, operating system, and Firebase configuration.
The App sends one custom Analytics event when a character is created, duplicated, or imported:
character_createdsource, which is one of first_run, new,
duplicate, or import
The custom event does not include a character name, save-file ID, notes, inventory, map, quest, or other game state. The App does not set a Firebase user ID or custom user properties.
Production mobile builds enable Firebase Crashlytics by default to help us identify and fix crashes. Crashlytics may collect crash reports and related diagnostic information, including crash stack traces, relevant application state, the time of the crash, app identifier and version, operating-system name and version, device model, CPU architecture, available memory and storage, device status, and pseudonymous Crashlytics installation and Firebase installation identifiers. When available, a report may also be associated with Firebase session or Analytics breadcrumb information.
The App forwards unhandled Flutter errors and uncaught platform errors to Crashlytics as fatal errors. The App does not intentionally record non-fatal gameplay errors, custom Crashlytics keys, user identifiers, or saved game content. Firebase states that Crashlytics retains crash stack traces, extracted minidump data, and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from its live and backup systems. See Firebase's Privacy and Security information for current details.
Other than the Firebase telemetry described above, the App does not ask for or intentionally transmit names, email addresses, account credentials, contacts, photos, microphone data, precise location, or saved gameplay data. The App is not configured to collect advertising identifiers or ad-personalization signals, and it does not serve ads. The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
All saved game data and App settings are stored locally on your device. Firebase telemetry is sent to Google when collection is enabled. We may access Analytics reports and Crashlytics reports in the Firebase console to understand app usage, maintain the App, and diagnose crashes, but we do not use these services to upload your saved JSON or synchronize your game state.
Firebase services may process and store telemetry on Google's global infrastructure, including outside the country where you live. Firebase states that its services encrypt data in transit and that Crashlytics data is encrypted at rest. See Firebase's Privacy and Security information for more information.
Depending on your device, operating system, and backup settings, Apple, Google, or another platform provider may include the App's local data in a device backup, cloud backup, or device-to-device transfer. Those services are controlled by you and the relevant platform provider, not by us.
When you choose to export a saved game, the App copies the save data as JSON text to your device's clipboard. When you choose to import a saved game, the App processes the JSON text that you paste into the import field. These actions occur only at your direction.
Information placed on the clipboard or shared outside the App may be accessible to your operating system, other apps, or anyone with whom you share it. We do not control copies that you export, paste, store, or share outside the App.
We use Firebase Analytics for limited usage measurement and Firebase Crashlytics for stability and crash diagnosis. We do not sell or rent your information, serve advertisements, or use this telemetry for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. The Android configuration disables advertising ID collection and ad-personalization signals. Google processes Firebase data as our service provider and may process Firebase service data as described in Google's policies.
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are provided by Google LLC. Google's handling of Firebase data is described in Firebase's Privacy and Security information and Google's Privacy Policy. Your device manufacturer, operating-system provider, or app store may independently process information related to downloading, installing, updating, backing up, or diagnosing the App. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. For more information, see Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy, as applicable.
If you contact us by email or another method outside the App, we receive the contact information and message you choose to provide. We use that information to respond to you, provide support, maintain the App, and protect against misuse. We retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or as required by law. Your email provider and ours may also process that communication under their own privacy policies.
Because all game data and App settings are stored locally on your device, you have control over your information. Local App data remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete your data at any time by:
Deleting local App data does not automatically delete exported copies, clipboard contents, device backups, or device-to-device transfers. You must manage those copies through the location or service where they are stored. Deleting local App data also does not automatically delete telemetry already sent to Firebase. Because Firebase telemetry is pseudonymous and is not tied to an App account, we may not be able to identify all records relating to a particular person. Contact us below with any request concerning telemetry, and we will evaluate it under applicable law and the controls available through Firebase.
Local game data is protected by your device's built-in security features and protections. Firebase telemetry is transmitted using encrypted connections and is subject to Firebase's security controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We recommend using your device's built-in security features (such as passcodes and biometric locks), keeping your software up to date, and using secure backup settings to protect your information. Take care when exporting or sharing save data.
D100 Tracker is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, but limited Firebase telemetry may be processed when collection is enabled. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through the App or outside the App, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Because game data remains local, we generally do not possess it to access, correct, or delete. We may possess pseudonymous Analytics and Crashlytics telemetry described in this policy. Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights regarding that telemetry or information you provide when contacting us. To submit a request, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your request, may be unable to associate pseudonymous data with you, and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or applicable requirements. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy at this URL and updating the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how the App handles information, we will provide any additional notice required by law.
